Denver in a Day!
I wish we had more time in Denver. I seem to find myself saying that about most places we go, but the goal is Yellowstone so tomorrow we'll push on. Ian says everyday "next time we'll make sure we don't have big projects going on and we'll travel for an entire season." Sounds good to me... Five weeks is going to fly by way to fast.
Today we went to the Denver Botanic Gardens. Talk about amazing!!! There are so many variety of plants and several cultures represented in the different displays. We throughly enjoyed it.
The Chatfield State Park where we are staying is outstanding. After we got back from our day in Denver we took a long walk and headed down to the lake to throw a fishing line a few times. We didn't catch anything but it was fun anyway and the walk was beautiful.
