Grand Teton
"The mountains are calling and I must go" - John Muir
Oh the mountains of Grand Teton... They are incredibly beautiful.
Before we arrived at Grand Teton I didn't realize there were glaciers on these mountains. What a wonderful surprise.
Ian and I fished Pole cat creek and Snake River. We were able to hike down to Snake River from our camp at Headwaters.
We drove to Teton Village at Jackson Hole and rode the tram over 4000 feet up the mountains. What a fantastic experience!
We had lunch with our friends in the adorable old west town of Jackson. Ian and Monty took off to attempt some fishing in the rain.
The RV park at Headwaters was the first park we stayed at where we made a camp fire. It was nice to hang out in the evening relaxing with friends around a warm fire.
Now on to Oregon we go!
